Our artists are encouraged to explore every side of their sound, tell complete stories, and create work that feels honest to who they are.

We do not use the word independent as a marketing phrase. We mean independent in every sense of the word: independent thought, independent sound, independent ownership, and independent direction. C.M. James is a cross-genre artist, songwriter, storyteller, and founder of C.M. Jaye Music. Known for blending lived experience, sharp lyricism, humor, and cinematic storytelling, he creates without allowing genre or industry expectations to define the work.
His music reflects the label’s foundation: independent thought, creative ownership, and the freedom to build beyond the traditional boundaries of sound.
Larysa Jaye

Sister of C.M. James, Larysa Jaye was a powerful Nashville singer-songwriter whose music carried the soul of her Kansas City roots into country, Americana, and acoustic storytelling. Her distinctive voice, honest writing, and commanding presence earned recognition throughout Nashville and beyond.
As a foundational legacy artist of C.M. Jaye Music, her work and creative spirit remain an enduring part of the label’s identity.

Isha Mane
Also Known as Isha
Born and raised in East Nashville, Isha Mane began rapping at age ten and entered the studio seriously by seventeen. His journey includes creating with the KoAlyshun and later forming the duo I-40.
After placing greater focus on family, he never lost his passion or ability to create. Now, through C.M. Jaye Music, the seasoned artist brings experience, authenticity, and lasting lyrical skill to a new chapter.
